A Denomination advocating to End OSEC: Church of the Nazarene of the Philippines
The video aims to depict the efforts of the church in ending Online Sexual Exploitation of Children (OSEC) campaign. It aims to encourage other faith-based denominations to join the campaign, in the Philippines and Denmark.
The Church of the Nazarene has been in the Philippines for more than 60 years. Currently, they have more than 350 churches in 11 Districts.
They have seen growth in Metro Manila District, Philippine Luzon District, and Bicol District because of the vision of the leaders and intentional disciples, and their passion in planting more churches in other areas.
Since 2020, the European Union funds the End Online Sexual Exploitation of Children (OSEC) project in the Philippines, and is under the implementation of the End OSEC Consortium which consists of Viva Denmark, Philippine Children's Ministries Network, Inc. (PCMN), and International Justice Mission (IJM) Philippines.
As part of the prevention component of the End OSEC project, the team engages with the church in mobilizing the community, especially on its awareness raising campaign about the safety of children online, and the threat of OSEC in the local areas.
